Bowmore 21 Year Old - Château Lagrange
A limited release from the home of the legendary No.1 Vaults at Bowmore. Fully matured for 21 years in French oak barriques that once held Château Lagrange Grand Cru classé red wine.
Colour: Muscat
Nose: Fruity notes of Bergamot, red berries, strawberries, prune syrup, but also Manuka honey, fudge and caramel, tobacco leaves, elderberry syrup, vanilla and a touch of magnolia scent.
Taste: Sweet and nutty with notes of caramel and treacle, hazelnuts, almonds, oak spices but also fruity notes of dark cherries and blueberries with dark chocolate, a hint of peat with an oily mouthfeel.
Finish: Sweet and nutty with praline notes and a trace of cinnamon.
