Wolfburn Small Batch 318
The sixth release in Wolfburn's Small Batch series, Batch 318 has been crafted from a combination of lightly-peated spirit, matured for a little over seven years in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts, and spirit matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels. This batch is limited to just 4,800 bottles in total.
Tasting Notes
On the nose, figs and apricots mix with soft tones of peat smoke. On the palate there's a great depth of flavour; hint's of honey-laced porridge mix with soft spices including cinnamon and ginger, all overlaid with sherry sweetness. At the finish dried fruit and caramel flavours meld with hints of lingering peat smoke.
